Nestled in the heart of the bustling metropolis of downtown Atlanta, sits a institution. One that harkens to the heritage of the classic and lost science of boxing.
THE ATLANTA ART OF BOXING CENTER
The Atlanta Art of Boxing Center has been a fixture in Atlanta for over 13 years. Throughout that time, the center has had a singular focus, using the foundations of boxing to encourage healthy physical and mental development for the youth of the city.
Lead by owner and founder Johnny Gant, The Atlanta Art of Boxing Center is the base of operations for the Johnny Gant Foundation. The foundation, a non-profit organization, develops sport centric programs for Atlanta area kids that give them constructive, focused outlets and specialized attention and mentorship.

full service gym
In addition to serving as a hub for the Johnny Gant Foundation, the center also serves as a full–service boxing gym, offering professional training for boxers and classic boxing workout regimens for local patrons and gym members.
Owner and founder Johnny Gant, a former World Class professional boxer, understands the pitfalls and accolades that boxing can afford young people. For at least two decades, he has coached and trained top professional and amateur boxers at various skill levels. As part of the Amateur Boxing Federation he coached the Region III amateur team. Under Johnny’s tutelage, the team, which consists of 10 to 27 year old boxers, advanced to both the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, Colorado to compete for the National Championship, as well as the National Golden Gloves Championship tournament in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
